If a thief forces you to take money from an ATM, do not argue or resist. What you should do is punch your pin in reverse. EX: if your pin is 1234 you punch 4321. The moment you punch in the reverse, the money will come out but will be stuck in the machine and the machine will immediately alert the police without the theif’s knowledge. Every ATM has this feature.

the more you knowFun fact: Humans are deuterostomes, which means that when they develop in the womb the anus forms before any other opening. Which basically means at one point you were nothing but an asshole.
And the highest paid public employee in your state is…
They left out the fact that most of these coaches salaries are paid by money made from the athletic programs so it’s not taxpayers payer money. Most large sport programs are self sufficient and the money is spread around to fund other sports and some school expenditures. That being sad it’s still kind of wrong but that’s the price we pay for entertainment.
Yeah but I mean, that’s not really “leaving it out”. The infographic is just saying what the highest paid public employee is. Regardless of the fact that revenue sports largely pay for their athletic programs, it’s still sad that other officials - whose purpose for employment is not entertainment, but rather something useful like education or social services - are not the highest paid in pretty much any state.
Additionally, even if the athletic programs do pay for the salaries of their coaches, that’s not saying that their coaches earned that money. Or that the coaches need that much money. A lot of well-paid coaches aren’t necessarily good coaches, they just have talented players that would be there regardless of who is at the helm (and often aren’t even needed for recruiting). Even if you look at it from the perspective of institutional advancement - which is a fair argument to make at universities like Penn State or Alabama - alumni giving is more associated with wins and losses than with big name coaches who can’t pull their weight.
It also doesn’t mean that it’s not better spent being funnelled back into helping alleviate rising tuition costs and furthering the actual mission of universities - which is to teach, and at national universities, to do research. College tuition is consistently rising, yet college coaches’ salaries are as well. I’m a college sports fan, but college sports have absolutely nothing to do with the mission of a university.
Tura Satana was a Japanese-Scots-Irish-Native American actress and former dancer. At school she was constantly harassed for her large breasts and asian appearance, and at the age of 9 she was gang raped by 5 men walking home from school. None of her attackers were prosecuted (the judge was reportedly paid off) so Tura took it in her stride to take up martial arts and learnt Aikido and Karate and over the next 15 years tracked down each rapist and extracted her own revenge.
Not even a stint in reform school could stop this woman, she became the leader of a gang she started with the other students and in her words they “had leather motorcycle jackets, jeans and boots and kicked butt.”
She played Varla in Russ Meyer’s “Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!” in which she did all her own stunts and improvised most of the films best lines including a scene when a gas attendant stares at her breasts and says how he’d like to travel America to which Varla replies “You wont find it down there Columbus.”
